The resurfacing process
Step 1
Your home comes first: Before work commences, we ensure that the walk ways are fully protected. Ventilation equipment is installed on an as required basis to ensure that any odours from the process are safely exhausted.
Step 2
Preparation: The surfaces are thoroughly cleaned to remove limescale, oil, dirt and soap film using our double-action cleaning agents.
Step 3
Repairs: Damaged areas, such as chips scratches, are repaired to ensure a smooth surface.
Step 4
Protection: The immediate surrounding areas are carefully masked to protect them.
Step 5
Bonding Agent: Our specialist bonding agent is applied evenly to create a molecular bond with the old surface.
Step 6
New Coating: Using specialist equipment, a hard-wearing acrylic polymer coating is applied and left to cure overnight.
Step 7
Polishing: Unlike our competitors, we gently polish the new surface, as required, to give it a rich, smooth lustre and feel.
Step 8
Re-sealing: Finally we re-seal the fixture as appropriate.
