Slip Resistant Surfaces – What are my options?
Many baths and shower trays come from the factory with a roughened finish on the bottom to act as a slip resistant surface. Unfortunately, over time the roughness wears off and does little to prevent slips. Aftermarket options are to use a bathmat, or have a slip resistant surface professionally installed.
Slip Resistant Surfaces – What are the advantages and disadvantages?
Bathmats can collect mould and mildew and become unsanitary. Removing them regularly is a nuisance. Bathmats with strong suction cups can damage the surface, if left in place too long.
A slip resistant surface applied by Miracle Method is chemically bonded to the bath or shower. It becomes integrated to the bottom of the bath and will not crack or peel. Slip resistant surfaces can be applied in a colour or coarseness of your choice.
