We do not add a call-out fee. Your fixed price includes everything.
How soon can you come?
Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.
Do you repair coloured baths?

How long before I can use the bath?
Normally by the following day, though it depends on what we’ve done.

Expect a mild smell while we are working that clears as it cures.
About our bath repair in Eaton
It pays to repair bath damage while it’s small. Exposed metal on enamelled baths soon rusts, while cracks in acrylic grow each time the bath moves. A repair stops both. We regularly repair whirlpool & spa baths, pressed steel enamel and acrylic, and people most often call us about a failed DIY repair that’s discoloured or lifting and damage done while the bathroom was being fitted.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in Eaton and everywhere else. We return to put right any problem with the work.

Work for landlords and builders
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, photos and access details and we’ll handle the rest.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
Prices and what affects them
Repairs from £95. You will not pay by the hour. The price is based on:
- What kind of damage it is
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- Whether we combine several jobs
- The size and number of damaged areas
Set against the cost of replacement, repairing generally costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Send photos for a quote
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- One picture of the whole bath
- Where you are, by postcode
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the whole bath, include your postcode and send them over. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.
Honest limits
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- A bath that moves underfoot, until its support is fixed
- Acrylic cracks with no access behind them
- Leaking fittings, which need a plumber
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before booking.
What we work on
- Pressed steel enamel
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Acrylic
- Roll-top & freestanding
- Cast iron enamel
Looking after it afterwards
Looking after the surface is easy, and it makes a real difference:
- Have new chips seen to early
- A dripping tap stains enamel, so fix it early
- Don’t leave razors or cans standing in the bath
- Put a towel in the bath if you’re working above it
Clean with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and try not to drop heavy bottles on the repair. Deal with new chips early, before rust sets in.
Avoid standing in a cracked acrylic bath until it’s fixed. Every use opens the crack a little more, and it can start to leak underneath.
How the visit works
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you and checks the damage against your pictures first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. Most visits take a few hours, depending on the damage, and we leave the room as we found it.
- First, we check the damage against your photos and agree the plan.
- Loose enamel, rust and dirt are removed so the repair can bond.
- We build up the filler in layers, shaping it to the bath.
- The colour is tinted by hand until it matches.
- Finally, it’s polished to match the shine and left to cure.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Keep a parking space free if you can
How to get a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.
Related advice
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
Repair or replace in Eaton?
When the bath is otherwise sound, repairing beats replacing. It’s quicker, cheaper and far less disruptive, and the bathroom stays as it is. If the whole surface is worn, re-enamelling may make more sense, and we will tell you. Our bath repair starts from £95. Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Eaton. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
