Sink and basin repair at your home, anywhere in the UK

Sink & basin repair without replacing anything

Basins take knocks from bottles, hair straighteners and tiles during a refit. Replacing one often means a plumber, new taps and making good the tiling. We repair chips and cracks in place, and can resurface a basin that has lost its shine.

We travel to you anywhere in the UK, and every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Send us a photo for a free, no-obligation quote.

How it works

  1. We clean the basin and check the damage.
  2. We fill the chip or crack and shape it to the original profile.
  3. We colour-match the finish to the glaze.
  4. We polish the repair to blend it in.
  5. The basin can usually be used again later that day or the next day.

Antique and period basins

On antique basins the maker’s mark is part of the value. Where we can, we repair around the mark rather than covering it. Tell us if your basin has a mark you want to keep.

Sink and basin repair: common questions

Can a cracked basin be repaired?

Many cracks can be repaired, especially on the rim or front edge. If a crack goes right through and the basin leaks, replacement may be safer. Send us a photo and we’ll advise.

Will the repair match my basin?

We mix the colour on the day to match your basin’s shade of white or colour, then polish the repair to blend it in.

Can you resurface a stained basin?

Yes. We can resurface a basin to a fresh, even finish, often on the same visit as a bath.

Is the repair guaranteed?

Yes. Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids the cost and disruption of removal, plumbing and making good. If replacement would be better, we’ll tell you.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and fixed, based on your photos.
