Shower tray repair and resurfacing at your home, anywhere in the UK

Shower tray repair & resurfacing without replacing anything

A shower tray is cheap to buy but expensive to replace, because the tiles, enclosure and waste usually have to come out with it. We repair chips, cracks and scratches, or resurface the whole tray, with the tray left in place.

We travel to you anywhere in the UK, and every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Send us a photo for a free, no-obligation quote.

How it works

  1. We check the tray is firmly supported and find the cause of any crack.
  2. We clean and prepare the damaged area or the whole tray.
  3. We fill and reinforce chips and cracks, then sand them flush.
  4. We colour-match and finish the repair, or spray a new finish across the whole tray.
  5. The tray is left to cure and can usually be used the next day.

Cracked trays

Trays often crack because they weren’t fully supported when they were fitted, so they flex underfoot. A repair will last only if the tray is firm. Send us a photo and tell us whether the tray moves when you stand on it, and we’ll advise. Read why shower trays crack.

Leaks

If water is getting through a crack, turn off the shower and contact us. We’ll tell you honestly if the tray needs replacing instead.

Send a photo for a free quote

Take a clear photo of the damage and one of the whole item, then send them with our quote form or call 0345 017 0787. We’ll tell you whether it can be repaired and give you a fixed price.

Shower tray repair and resurfacing: common questions

Can a cracked shower tray be repaired?

Often, yes, if the tray is properly supported and we can reach the damage. If it flexes when you stand on it, the support needs fixing first or the crack can come back.

Can you resurface a stone resin tray?

Yes. We resurface stone resin, acrylic, ceramic and enamelled steel trays.

Do I need to remove the shower enclosure?

No. We mask the enclosure and tiles and work with the tray in place.

When can I use the shower again?

Usually the next day. We’ll confirm when we finish.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids the cost and disruption of removal, plumbing and making good. If replacement would be better, we’ll tell you.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and fixed, based on your photos.
