Worktop repair without replacing anything

Worktops are expensive to replace and hard to match, especially if the range has been discontinued. We repair the damaged spot and blend it into the pattern and colour of the surrounding worktop, often in a single visit.

We travel to you anywhere in the UK, and every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Send us a photo for a free, no-obligation quote.

How it works

  1. We assess the damage and the worktop material.
  2. We clean the area and prepare the edges of the damage.
  3. We fill with a filler suited to the material, and build up any missing edge.
  4. We match the colour and pattern by hand so the repair blends in.
  5. We seal or finish the surface to suit the worktop.

Pattern matching

Stone, quartz and speckled laminate have flecks and veins. We recreate the pattern by hand so the repair doesn’t show up as a plain patch.

When a section needs replacing

Laminate that has swollen from water underneath can’t be repaired from the top. We’ll tell you if that’s the case before we start.

Kitchen worktop repair: common questions

Can you repair a burn on a laminate worktop?

Yes. We remove the damaged surface, fill and then colour and pattern-match the area. Deep burns that have gone through to swollen chipboard may need a section replacing.

Can quartz or granite chips be repaired?

Yes. Chips on edges and around sinks are common, and we fill and polish them to match.

Can you fix a scorched wooden worktop?

Yes. We sand out the damage and refinish the area, or the full length if the whole top needs it.

How long does a worktop repair take?

Most repairs take a few hours. We’ll give you a time when we quote.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids the cost and disruption of removal, plumbing and making good. If replacement would be better, we’ll tell you.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and fixed, based on your photos.
