Bath Repair in Stanion
Bath repair in Stanion without the cost of replacing. Send us photos for a fixed quote, then book a visit.
- Repairs from £95
- Chips caused by builders
- Rust by the waste and overflow

How to look after the repair
After the repair has cured, a few habits help it last:
- A dripping tap stains enamel, so fix it early
- Get any new chip repaired before it rusts
- If an acrylic bath flexes, have its feet adjusted
- Protect the bath with a towel when doing jobs nearby
Care for the repair the same way as the bath: warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft cloth. Keep scouring pads and gritty cleaners away from it.
A chip on a metal bath shouldn’t be left. Water gets to the metal and rust starts, turning a quick repair into a bigger one.
How we handle bath repair in Stanion
Most of our bath repairs take a few hours, and the bath is back in use the following day. There is no need to book a plumber or tiler, because nothing is disconnected. Common call-outs are for a chipped rim or side and a kit repair that didn’t last, in roll-top & freestanding, whirlpool & spa baths and pressed steel enamel.
Every job is backed for twelve months in Stanion and everywhere else. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back.

What we cannot put right
Not everything can be repaired, and we will tell you before we start. Repairs won’t solve:
- A bath that moves underfoot, until its support is fixed
- Leaking fittings, which need a plumber
- Cracks in parts of an acrylic bath we cannot get to from below
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
Materials we repair
- Cast iron enamel
- Pressed steel enamel
- Acrylic
- Roll-top & freestanding
- Whirlpool & spa baths
Different materials, different repairs
Composite and resin
Composite baths are dense and solid, and frequently freestanding. Chips and scratches are filled and matched, just like other baths.
Acrylic
Acrylic feels warm and is light, but it needs firm support underneath. Cracks are strengthened from behind before the front is finished.
Work for landlords and builders
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Send the address, pictures and access details and we will arrange it.
For anyone letting property in or around Stanion, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send pictures for each one and we will price them together.
Common problems we fix in Stanion
Dropped items cause the majority of chips, and a lot happen during bathroom refits. Acrylic baths crack for a different reason: poor support underneath, so the bath flexes when it’s full.
Keep an eye out for these signs:
- A failed DIY repair that’s discoloured or lifting
- Chips on the rim or sides
- A cracked acrylic bath
- Chips under the taps

What affects the price in Stanion
Repairs from £95. There is no charge for travel to Stanion. The price depends on:
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- What the surface is made of
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- How many items we do on one visit
A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking, with nothing added on the day.
Quotes from your photos
Two or three clear photos are normally enough. It helps if you send:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- One picture of the entire bath
- Any details about the material
You do not need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.

How the visit works
We work cleanly and quietly, so you can stay at home while we’re there. We protect the area first, then the job itself takes a morning or an afternoon. At the end we talk you through how soon it can be used and how to care for it.
- We start by looking at the damage and confirming the plan with you.
- Loose enamel, rust and dirt are removed so the repair can bond.
- We build up the filler in layers, shaping it to the bath.
- The colour is tinted by hand until it matches.
- Finally, it’s polished to match the shine and left to cure.
Before we arrive
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
Ask for a price

Should you replace it?
A new bath brings a chain of other jobs: the tiles sitting on the rim tend to break, a new panel is frequently needed, and a plumber has to disconnect and reconnect everything. Repairing the damage avoids all of that. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send photos and we’ll give you the exact figure.
