Bath chip & crack repair in Stoke, Medway
Bath repair for Stoke, without a refit. Get a fixed price from your photos, then book a visit.
- Repairs from £95
- Deep scratches in acrylic
- Damage done while the bathroom was being fitted

Materials and what they mean for the repair
Pressed steel
Steel baths are lighter than cast iron, but have a similar enamel surface. Chips rust quickly on steel, especially around the waste, so repair chips early.
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are thick and very strong, finished with fired enamel. A chip down to the iron can rust, but the body of the bath lasts a very long time, which makes it well worth repairing.
Bath repair in Stoke without replacing anything
Most bath damage, from chips and cracks to rust spots and holes, is repaired in place. There is no plumbing to disconnect, your tiles stay as they are, and the repaired area is colour matched so it blends in. Typical jobs include chips on the rim or sides and scuffs and scratches in the surface, on cast iron enamel, acrylic and roll-top & freestanding.
Every repair is covered by our one-year guarantee.

For landlords and businesses
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
For anyone letting property in or around Stoke, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send photos for each one and we’ll come back with a combined price.
Stoke questions
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit normally costs less than separate visits. Send pictures of everything you’d like done.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
Generally, yes. Tell us what was done before.
Can you repair a crack in an acrylic bath?
In most cases. We reinforce the crack from behind, then fill and refinish the front, so access behind the panel is important.
What does bath repair cost?
Repairs from £95. We give a fixed quote from your pictures. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo with your ME3 postcode.
Do you charge for travel?
No. Our quotes include travel, and we charge the same wherever you are.
Will there be a smell?
Expect a mild smell while we are working that clears as it cures.
Can landlords book you?
Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as householders across Medway.
How invisible is a bath repair?
On a glossy bath, you will struggle to find it. On older, dull enamel the repair can look glossier than the area around it.
How it works
We turn up at the time we agreed with you and looks over the damage before anything else. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. Most visits take two to three hours for most chips, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- First, the area is cleaned and any loose enamel or rust is removed.
- We fill the damage and sand it flush with the surrounding surface.
- We tint the finish on the day to suit your bath’s shade of white or colour.
- We apply the finish coats and polish the repair so it blends in.
- We leave it to cure; you can normally use the bath the next day.
Preparing for the visit
- Open a window if you can
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Clear the area around the damage

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £95. You will know the full cost before you book. We take into account:
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Whether we combine several jobs
There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.
How to get a fixed quote
We price nearly every job from photos. This is what to send:
- A photo taken from further back
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- The material, if you know it
You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote.
What a repair cannot fix
In fairness, there are a few things a repair will not fix:
- Leaking fittings, which need a plumber
- Cracks in acrylic we can’t reach from underneath
- Rust that has eaten right through a steel bath
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.
Materials we repair
- Roll-top & freestanding
- Pressed steel enamel
- Acrylic
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Cast iron enamel
Repair or replace: which is better?
A new bath brings a chain of other jobs: the tiles sitting on the rim tend to break, the panel may not fit the new one, and the plumbing has to be disconnected and refitted. A repair skips all of it. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
Why us?
- No need to remove anything
- No extra charge for your area
- Most jobs done in one visit
- Every repair guaranteed for a year

Aftercare tips
Looking after the surface is easy, and it makes a real difference:
- Stick to mild cleaners and a soft cloth
- Rinse it down after each bath
- Have new chips seen to early
- Keep abrasive pads and gritty cleaners away from the bath
Do not leave razors, cans or hair grips in the bath, because they can mark the enamel. And fix dripping taps promptly.
Avoid standing in a cracked acrylic bath until it’s fixed. Each time it flexes, the crack grows, and water can get through to the floor below.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
