Bath resealing in Cooper's Green, done in place

A fresh seal protects your bathroom. Old, split or mouldy sealant lets water get behind the bath or tray, and a new seal stops it. We regularly repair baths, wet rooms and basins & vanity units, and people most often call us about a messy previous reseal and leaks at the edges.

Whatever the size of the job, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee in Cooper's Green and across East Sussex.

Resealing in Cooper's Green: why it matters

Resealing is routine maintenance. Putting off a reseal can let water reach the walls and floor, and that damage costs much more to fix. We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Cooper's Green. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Why us?

  • Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • Fixed prices from your photos
  • One visit for most repairs

DIY repairs versus a professional job

If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

How it works

Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, protect the area, then carry out the work, which normally takes around two hours. If anything looks different from your photos, we’ll talk to you before going ahead.

  1. The surrounding area is protected and the joints masked.
  2. We remove the old sealant and every trace of residue.
  3. The joint is cleaned, treated and dried.
  4. We run a continuous bead of new silicone.
  5. The bead is smoothed, the tape removed and the seal left to cure.

How to prepare

  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Ensure the area is dry

Ask for a price

There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.

Aftercare tips

Looking after the surface is easy, and it makes a real difference:

  • Wipe the joints dry after use
  • Use the extractor fan
  • Don’t stand toiletries on the seal
  • Reseal when black spots will not clean off

Avoid scraping the joints, and keep shampoo bottles off the joints.

Damp below or loose tiles need checking quickly. There may be more going on, so we will tell you if it needs a builder or plumber.
