Palestine: your questions answered
How long before I can shower?
You’ll get the curing time from us, normally around a day.
What information do you need?
Some pictures, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, we only need access to the room.
Do you come to Palestine?
Yes. We cover the entire UK and travel to Palestine. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
What if the damage is worse than the photos show?
The price is fixed for what the pictures show. If there’s more, we will tell you before starting.
Why does mould come back so fast?
Damp is the cause. Run the fan, dry the joints and the new seal stays cleaner for longer.
Does someone need to be in?
We need someone to let us in. You don’t need to watch us work.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as homeowners in Palestine.
Do you cover the whole of Hampshire?
The whole UK, including all of Hampshire. Send your postcode with your pictures and we will offer you dates.
Bath resealing at your home in Palestine
The key to a good reseal is getting all of the old silicone out. New silicone will not bond to old, which is why many DIY jobs peel. We work on wet rooms, kitchen worktops & sinks and shower trays & enclosures, and common reasons people get in touch are missing sealant behind the taps and gaps in the seal.
Whatever the size of the job, you get the same one-year guarantee.

Signs you need bath resealing in Palestine
Black mould is the most common reason people reseal. It grows into the silicone, so cleaning cannot get it all out.
Clients usually contact us about:
- Stained silicone
- Gaps by the taps
- Black spots in the silicone
- Damp near the bath
What your quote should include
- What happens if the damage is worse than the pictures show
- What preparation is included
- Who will actually do the work
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers
How we price bath resealing
A fixed quote means you know the cost before you book. We take into account:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- The material and finish
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Whether we combine several jobs
Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Palestine. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Quotes from your photos
When you take your pictures, a few simple things make all the difference:
- Something in shot to show the size
- Where you are, by postcode
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- Any details about the material
For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.

In Palestine, that means homes near Church of St Leonard and Grateley Primary School and the streets around them. There is a railway station in Palestine itself: Grateley station. Open spaces near Palestine include Quarley Hill and Winterbourne Downs RSPB reserve.
For landlords and businesses
If you manage property in Palestine, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send pictures for each one and we’ll come back with a combined price.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Different materials, different repairs
Shower trays
We put weight on a tray before sealing it, for the same reason.
Sinks and worktops
We reseal basins, vanity tops and kitchen worktops, once the joint is completely dry.
Why it’s worth resealing in Palestine
Compared with repairing water damage, resealing is cheap. It’s a quick job that protects your walls and floors. No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Why Palestine clients choose us

What happens on the day
On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. Most visits take a couple of hours, tidy-up included.
- We cut out and remove all of the old sealant.
- The joint is cleaned and any mould treated.
- We dry the joint thoroughly.
- For a bath, we fill it with water first so the joint is at its widest.
- New mould-resistant silicone goes on and is tooled to a neat finish, including around the taps.
Getting ready for the visit
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift

DIY repairs versus a professional job
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
What a repair cannot fix
Before you book, it’s worth knowing the limits:
- Hidden water damage
- Gaps so wide they need filling or trims before sealing
- Loose tiles, which need refixing first
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.
What we work on
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
