Coloured bath resurfacing in Ardrossan, done in place
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Typical jobs include faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, in whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays.
Every job is backed for twelve months in Ardrossan and everywhere else. We return to put right any problem with the work. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Ardrossan: your questions answered
Is my repair covered?
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
When can you do it?
Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work and until it has cured. Everywhere else in the home is fine.
Can you do the toilet too?
Talk to us first. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll tell you what will last.
Can tenants book a repair?
We can work for tenants, landlords or agents. Get your landlord’s agreement first.
Do you do work for letting agents?
We do, regularly. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.
What information do you need?
A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Generally, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.

The process
We work cleanly and quietly, so you can stay at home while we’re there. We protect the area first, then the work takes one to two days for a full suite. Before we leave, we explain the curing time and the aftercare.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.
Before we arrive
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Let us know about parking or access
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area

How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. We don’t charge extra for travel to Ardrossan. The price depends on:
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The colour and finish to match
- What the surface is made of
- How easy the damage is to reach
Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Getting a price from pictures
Phone pictures are fine. Make sure they show:
- One picture of the whole suite
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price. Quotes are free and no obligation.
Honest limits
Before you book, it’s worth knowing the limits:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before booking.
Surfaces we repair
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays
Can I fix it myself?
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
