How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Belaugh

A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, in coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. We return to put right any problem with the work. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Prices start from £350. We don’t charge extra for travel to Belaugh. The price depends on:

  • The material
  • What kind of damage it is
  • The colour and finish to match
  • How many areas need work

A repair typically costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send photos and we’ll give you the exact figure.

How to get a fixed quote

Photographing the damage takes a minute, and it saves a visit. Try to send:

  • Any details about the material
  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • One picture of the entire suite

If you’re in Belaugh and want a price, photos are the quickest way: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.

Common problems we fix in Belaugh

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s typically the colour that dates them, not the condition.

People generally call us when they notice one of these:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

How to compare quotes

For landlords and businesses

We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out pictures. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting so nothing needs replacing. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

DIY kit or professional repair?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

Belaugh: your questions answered

What does coloured bath resurfacing cost?

Resurfacing from £350. Every job gets a fixed quote based on pictures of the damage. Send a close-up and a picture of the whole item and your postcode.

What do you need from me?

Send pictures through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we will take it from there.

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

What happens after I send pictures?

You get a fixed quote and available dates. If anything’s unclear, we will ask for another photo.

Do you hold any accreditations?

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.

Are there extra charges for Belaugh?

Travel is included in the price, with the same prices everywhere we work.

Is there any odour?

Some materials have a smell while they’re applied. It clears as the materials cure.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Yes, almost always. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.

What a repair can’t fix

It helps to know what we cannot do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

What we work on

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before booking.

What you get with us

  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • No extra charge for your area
  • Fixed prices from your photos

Read our prices page and resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.

How the visit works

We turn up at the time we agreed with you and looks over the damage before anything else. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite, and we leave the room as we found it.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the next day.

How to prepare

  • Open a window if you can
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings

How to get a price

We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.
