Trusted coloured bath resurfacing in Bishampton

Should you replace it?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Why us?

  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • Free fixed quotes from pictures
  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Bishampton

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. If you’re dealing with selling or letting a home with an old suite and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, we can normally put it right, whatever the material.

A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Can I fix it myself?

For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

What a repair cannot fix

We will not take on work that will not last, so these are the limits:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer before you book.

Materials we work on in Bishampton

FAQs for Bishampton

What happens after I send pictures?

We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote with dates.

Which areas do you work in?

All of Worcestershire, and the rest of the UK. Travel is included in the price.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Of course, and it generally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and we will quote them together.

What about the toilet?

Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will tell you what will last.

What do you need from me?

A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.

Can you price it without visiting?

Normally, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.

Is it OK to have pets in the house?

Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we’re working in. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.

Is repairing better than replacing?

Normally, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. You’ll know the full cost before you book. We look at:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • What kind of damage it is
  • The size and number of damaged areas

A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.

Getting a price from photos

Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:

  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale

There is no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.

What we are called out for in Bishampton

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.

You may need us if you’ve spotted any of these:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

How it works

Once we are through the door, we keep the work contained to the one room. We mask off everything nearby, the job takes one to two days for a full suite, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.

How to prepare

  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Ensure the room can be ventilated
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit
