Coloured bath resurfacing in Brindley

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Brindley

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays, and common reasons people get in touch are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and faded or patchy colour.

We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you’re not left on your own once we have gone. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

What we can’t put right

A repair is not right for every job, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer before booking.

Materials we repair

  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

Common questions in Brindley

Can landlords book you?

We do, regularly. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.

Which areas do you work in?

The whole UK, including all of Cheshire East. Send your postcode with your pictures and we will confirm dates.

Is there a call-out fee?

There is no separate call-out charge. Your fixed quote includes everything.

Will it make a mess?

No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

What about the toilet?

Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll tell you what will last.

How soon can you come?

It depends on the time of year and where you are. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.

Do you hold any accreditations?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. We don’t charge extra for travel to Brindley. The price comes down to:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • The material and finish
  • How many areas need work
  • Doing more than one item at once

We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Brindley. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Getting a price from photos

Photographing the damage takes a minute. Please include:

  • A picture taken from further back
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • Natural light rather than flash

Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a picture from further back, send them over with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote. Quotes are free and you are under no obligation.

Work for landlords and builders

If you manage property in Brindley, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send photos for each one and we’ll price them together.

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.

Should you replace it?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Why us?

  • CHAS and Constructionline accredited
  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • A fixed quote before booking

The process

Nothing needs to be moved out of the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and get going once we’ve agreed what we are doing. Most jobs take one to two days for a full suite, and you’re welcome to carry on with your day while we work.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. We leave everything to cure, normally until the next day.

Preparing for the visit

  • Let us know which floor the room is on
  • Let us know if it has been repaired before
  • Have a window or extractor fan available

How to get a price

Upload a picture of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, with your CW5 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.

Related advice

DIY kit or professional repair?

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is usually cheaper.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

Common problems we fix in Brindley

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

If you can see any of these, send us a photo:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

Questions to ask before you book

  • How the colour is matched
  • Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
  • How changes to the job are handled
  • Who will actually do the work
