Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before you book, with no extras added later.

About our coloured bath resurfacing in Broad Hinton
A full suite is usually done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Typical jobs include selling or letting a home with an old suite and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, across coloured basins, coloured shower trays and whole bathroom suites.
A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

How it works
On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Let us in and show us the room, and we’ll take it from there. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite, tidy-up included.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
How to prepare
- Let us know about parking or access
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day

Can I fix it myself?
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
Honest limits
Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.
What we work on
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
Broad Hinton: your questions answered
How do I get a price for coloured bath resurfacing in Broad Hinton?
Prices start from £350. We give a fixed quote from your pictures. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo with your SN4 postcode.
Are there extra charges for Broad Hinton?
Travel is included in the price, and we charge the same wherever you are.
Will you leave a mess?
We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and we clean up when we have finished.
What about the toilet?
Talk to us first. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will advise honestly before quoting.
How quickly can you book me in?
We will give you dates with your quote. Tell us if you need it done quickly.
Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?
Yes, we frequently do. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.
Can tenants book a repair?
We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just make sure the landlord agrees.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Generally, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. We give every job a fixed quote from photos. These are the things that affect it:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- How many items we do on one visit
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- The type of damage
The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed price from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.
Quotes from your pictures
When you take your photos, a few simple things make all the difference:
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
Send us a picture of the damage and one of the whole item, with your SN4 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
