Need coloured bath resurfacing in Broad Oak?

Coloured bath resurfacing in Broad Oak without replacing anything

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Our repair technicians work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays, and common reasons people get in touch are a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.

You’re covered after we leave: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we explain what it covers before you book. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What we do, step by step

You do not need to empty the room beforehand. We bring everything we need with us, put protection down and get going once we have agreed what we’re doing. Most jobs take a day or two, depending on how many items, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Each item is left to cure, typically ready the next day.

How to prepare

  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Have a window or extractor fan available
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area

Common questions in Broad Oak

What happens once I’ve sent pictures?

We review the pictures and send a fixed quote with dates.

Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?

In most cases. We remove the old repair before doing a new one, so let us know about it.

Can you price it without visiting?

Yes, almost always. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

In most cases, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. We will be honest if it’s not worth it.

Can you repair several things at once?

Of course, and it usually saves money. Just add the extra items to your pictures and you will get one combined price.

Is my repair covered?

Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

What do you need from me?

Send pictures through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787.

Will there be a smell?

Some materials have a smell while they’re applied. It clears as the materials cure.

Repair or replace in Broad Oak?

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. You will see the full price before you book.

When a repair isn’t the answer

A repair is not right for every job, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.

What we’re called out for in Broad Oak

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.

Get in touch if you’ve noticed any of these:

  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Before booking anyone

  • What aftercare is recommended
  • Whether the colour is mixed to match

How to compare quotes

Should I try a DIY kit first?

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually. What matters most is:

  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • The material and finish
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it
  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out

Compared with replacing, a repair is generally a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you are paying for.
