Coloured bath resurfacing near Bromley Cross

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Bromley Cross

Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Our technicians work on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins, and people most often call us about a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.

Big or small, you get the same one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Can I fix it myself?

A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.

What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:

  • How many items we do on one visit
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • The colour and finish to match
  • How easy the damage is to reach

Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

How to get a fixed price

You can typically get a fixed price without us visiting. To make it quick:

  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • What it’s made of, if you know

A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the entire suite, add your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Bromley Cross?

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.

Most people contact us after spotting something like this:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour

What your quote should include

  • How soon you can use it again
  • Whether a trained technician does the job
  • The length of the guarantee and what it covers
  • How the room is protected while they work

How to compare quotes

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.

Why book with us

  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • Every repair guaranteed for a year
  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish
  • Colour mixed on the day to match

Read our prices page and bath cost comparison.

The process

We turn up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.

Before we arrive

  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Point us to the nearest place to park

How to get a price

We price from photos so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.

When a repair is not the answer

A repair is not right for every job, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last

  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.
