Coloured Bath Resurfacing in Caring
Resurfacing coloured baths, basins and trays in white for homes and businesses in Caring and across Kent. Send photos for a free, fixed quote.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour

Can I fix it myself?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Caring
Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Whether it’s a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can normally put it right.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you are not left on your own once we have gone. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

What we are called out for in Caring
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s usually the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Look out for these signs:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour
Questions to ask before you book
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
- What prep work is covered
- What happens if they find more damage
- How to care for the finish
How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Prices start from £350. You will know the full cost before booking. We look at:
- Access to the area
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- How much damage there is
- What the surface is made of
We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Caring. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Send photos for a quote
Good photos mean an accurate price. Here’s what helps:
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- Any details about the material
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
To get a price, send two or three pictures using our quote form or call us. We’ll say immediately if a repair is the right fix.
Work for landlords and builders
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Kent and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.
When a repair isn’t the answer
It helps to know what we can’t do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think.
Materials we repair
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
Repairing versus replacing in Caring
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Why us?
- We leave the room as we found it
- Straight answers about what a repair can do
- One-year guarantee on every repair
- No extra charge for your area

The process
We agree an arrival time beforehand. Once we are there, the work takes a day or two, depending on how many items. The room is left tidy.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
Ask for a price
For most jobs, pictures are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.
