Need coloured bath resurfacing in Casmorys?

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Casmorys, done in place

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Common call-outs are for a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, in avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays.

The work is covered for a year after we finish. Just call us if there is a problem and we’ll sort it. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Casmorys: your questions answered

Is repairing better than replacing?

Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We will be honest if it’s not worth it.

Do you come to Casmorys?

Yes, we do. Repair technicians travel to Casmorys from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.

Is there any odour?

Expect a mild smell while we are working.

Can you repair several things at once?

Of course, and it typically saves money. Just add the extra items to your pictures and you will get one combined price.

What happens next?

We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Generally, yes. Clear photos let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.

It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?

Normally, yes. The old repair comes out first, so let us know about it.

How quickly can you book me in?

It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send photos with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.

How it works

It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, cover and mask the work area, and get on with the job, which usually takes a day or two, depending on how many items. If we find something your photos didn’t show, we will explain it before carrying on.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Preparing for the visit

  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area

Ask for a price

There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

Advice

Can I fix it myself?

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.

Common problems we fix in Casmorys

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

If you can see any of these, send us a picture:

  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

10 questions to ask before you book

Prices and what affects them

Prices start from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Casmorys. The price reflects:

  • How many items we do on one visit
  • How many areas need work
  • What the surface is made of
  • What kind of damage it is

The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before you book.

How to get a fixed price

The better the photos, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:

  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • One picture of the entire suite
  • Any details about the material
  • One sharp close-up of the damage

Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job the same day in most cases.

Work for landlords and builders

Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Pembrokeshire and across the UK. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.

What we cannot put right

We would rather lose a job than do one that will not last, so these are the limits:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before booking.
