What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Chew Stoke. The price reflects:

  • Access to the area
  • The colour and finish to match
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • The type of damage

No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

Getting a price from photos

You can usually get a fixed quote without us visiting. To make it quick:

  • Natural light rather than flash
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before

We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.

Can I fix it myself?

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is usually the cheaper route.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Chew Stoke

What does coloured bath resurfacing cost?

Prices start from £350. Because every job differs, we price from pictures. You will get a fixed figure before booking.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Normally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we will say so.

Can you price it without visiting?

Yes, almost always. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed price without visiting.

Can you do the toilet too?

Talk to us first. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.

Will it make a mess?

Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.

Will the price change on the day?

We’ll show you and explain before doing anything extra. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.

Do you come to Chew Stoke?

Yes. We work across the UK and travel to Chew Stoke and the rest of Bath and North East Somerset. Send pictures and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

What happens after I send pictures?

We come back with a fixed quote, normally with dates to choose from. You’re under no obligation.

For landlords and businesses

Letting agents often send us photos straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.

For anyone letting property in or around Chew Stoke, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Just send photos for each address and we will price them together.

Honest limits

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

Surfaces we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A repair usually costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

Why Chew Stoke clients choose us

What we do, step by step

You don’t need to empty the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and start once you’re happy with the plan. It normally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you’re welcome to carry on with your day while we work.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children

Getting a price

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire suite, include your postcode and send them to us. You will get a fixed price, not an estimate.
