Coloured Bath Resurfacing for Cogges homes
Coloured bath resurfacing across Cogges and nearby, normally in one visit.
- Resurfacing from £350
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite

DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
Coloured bath resurfacing in Cogges, done in place
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Our repair technicians work on whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins, and people most frequently call us about faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If something isn’t right in that time, we come back and put it right. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What we do, step by step
On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we’ll get on with it. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite, tidy-up included.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the following day.
How to prepare
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Ensure the room can be ventilated
Ask for a price
For most jobs, pictures are all we need to give you a price. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.

- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom

Questions from Cogges
Will the price change on the day?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.
Are there extra charges for Cogges?
Travel is included in the price, with the same prices everywhere we work.
Will there be a smell?
A little, depending on the job. Open windows and an extractor fan help.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
We’re happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Get your landlord’s agreement first.
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Of course, and it typically saves money. Send pictures of everything together and we’ll quote them together.
Is there a guarantee?
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. We will explain what it covers when we quote.
Do you cover the entire of Oxfordshire?
We cover the entire UK, including Cogges and the rest of Oxfordshire. Send your postcode with your pictures and we’ll offer you dates.
What do you need from me?
Send pictures through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we will do the rest.
When we’d advise against a repair
Some jobs aren’t right for a repair, for example:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.
What we work on
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
Why us?
- Straight answers about what a repair can do
- A fixed quote before booking
- Same prices wherever you are
- One visit for most repairs

What affects the price in Cogges
Resurfacing from £350. You will not pay by the hour. The price is based on:
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- The type of damage
- How many items we do on one visit
A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
Quotes from your photos
You can take the photos on your phone. Just make sure we can see:
- The material, if you know it
- One picture of the entire suite
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed price without visiting.
