Coloured bath resurfacing in Colliston without replacing anything
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, in coloured shower trays, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you are covered after the visit. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Questions from Colliston
Do I need to be at home?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send pictures of everything you’d like done.
Is the work guaranteed?
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
Are there extra charges for Colliston?
No. Our quotes include travel, and we charge the same wherever you are.
Which areas do you work in?
The entire UK, including all of Angus. Send your postcode with your photos and we will confirm dates.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
How soon can you come?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send pictures with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.
Can pets and children be at home?
Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day.
Can I fix it myself?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. Each job gets its own fixed price. This is what makes a difference:
- The type of damage
- What the surface is made of
- How many items we do on one visit
- Access to the area
There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Send photos for a quote
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the whole suite, add your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.
When we’d advise against a repair
Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits too:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before you book.
Surfaces we repair
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays
How the visit works
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. The work itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and we leave the room as we found it.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the next day.
How to prepare
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
Ask for a price
You don’t need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. Instead of hourly rates, we price the whole job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access.
