Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Eagle, done in place

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. We’re often asked to fix faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, across coloured basins, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites.

A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re not left on your own once we’ve gone. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

What a repair cannot fix

We won’t take on work that will not last, so these are the limits:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before booking.

Materials we work on in Eagle

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites

When to call us in Eagle

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s typically the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Contact us if you’ve noticed any of these:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom

How to compare quotes

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. We don’t charge extra for travel to Eagle. The price comes down to:

  • What the surface is made of
  • Doing more than one item at once
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • Access to the area

A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.

Quotes from your photos

Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To make it quick:

  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Natural light rather than flash
  • Any details about the material

If you’re in Eagle and want a price, the easiest route is pictures: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

Repairing versus replacing in Eagle

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Compared with replacing, a repair is normally a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

Why Eagle customers choose us

How it works

Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, and we leave the room as we found it.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. We leave everything to cure, typically until the following day.

Before we arrive

  • Let us know about parking or access
  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Ensure the area is dry

Ask for a price

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

Related advice

Eagle: your questions answered

It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?

Most of the time. Let us know what was used before.

Will there be a smell?

It depends on the job, but often a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum.

What about the toilet?

Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.

Do you cover Eagle?

Yes, we do. We send a technician to Eagle for every job, with no extra charge for travel.

Is it messy?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

Do you charge for travel?

Travel is included in the price, and we charge the same wherever you are.

What areas do you cover?

Across the UK, and that includes Eagle. Our prices are the same everywhere.
