Coloured Bath Resurfacing for Edenthorpe homes
Resurfacing coloured baths, basins and trays in white for homes and businesses in Edenthorpe and across Doncaster. Free, fixed quotes from your photos.
- Resurfacing from £350
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Edenthorpe
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. We are often asked to fix a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour, across coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths.
A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Work for landlords and builders
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
What we are called out for in Edenthorpe
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.
The most common problems we’re called about are:
- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
What your quote should include
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- Whether the price covers travel
- What happens if they find more damage
- Aftercare advice
Prices and what affects them
Resurfacing from £350. Prices are worked out job by job. The main factors are:
- How many items we do on one visit
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- The colour and finish to match
- Access to the area
A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before you book.
Quotes from your photos
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. Try to include:
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A picture taken from further back
- Something in shot to show the size
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.
DIY repairs versus a professional job
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.
Should you replace it?
Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

Edenthorpe questions
Is my repair covered?
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, so the repair isn’t disturbed while it cures.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Generally, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. We will be honest if it’s not worth it.
What about the toilet?
Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include photos of each item.
Do you work in Edenthorpe?
We do. We send a technician to Edenthorpe for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
Generally, yes. We remove the old repair before doing a new one, so let us know about it.
Are you accredited?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.

Honest limits
A repair is not right for every job, including:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before you book.
Materials we repair
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
The process
Once we are through the door, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. Surfaces nearby are masked off, the job takes a day or two, depending on how many items, depending on what we find, and we finish with a tidy-up and a look at the finished work together.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
Getting ready for the visit
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Have a window or extractor fan available
Ask for a price
A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the whole suite, add your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.
