Coloured suite to white in Farringdon, Hampshire
Local coloured bath resurfacing for Farringdon: a fixed quote from photos, a tidy visit and a one-year guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. Each job gets its own fixed quote. This is what makes a difference:
- The material
- Whether we combine several jobs
- The type of damage
- How easy the damage is to reach
A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. You will see the full price before booking, with nothing added on the day.
Getting a price from pictures
Good pictures mean an accurate price. Here’s what helps:
- Where you are, by postcode
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Something in shot to show the size
- Any details about the material
There’s no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.
Coloured bath resurfacing in Farringdon, done in place
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured basins and coloured shower trays, and people most frequently call us about a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.
You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Farringdon as everywhere else we work. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Questions from Farringdon
Will the price change on the day?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We will be honest if it’s not worth it.
Can pets and children be at home?
Please keep children and pets out of the room during the visit and until it has cured. The rest of the house is unaffected.
Will it make a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send photos of everything you’d like done.
What do you need from me?
Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787.
Is there a call-out fee?
Travel is included in the price, with the same prices everywhere we work.
Do you come to Farringdon?
Yes, we do. Repair technicians travel to Farringdon from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.
What we’re called out for in Farringdon
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.
If you can see any of these, send us a photo:
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
Questions to ask before booking
- If travel is included in the price
- What happens if the damage is worse than the photos show
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
- How long it needs to cure
When a repair isn’t the answer
We would rather lose a job than do one that will not last, so these are the limits:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.
What we work on
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths

Should I try a DIY kit first?
For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Landlord and trade work in Farringdon

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.
Should you replace it?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before you book.

The process
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive on time, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and tidy away. Allow one to two days for a full suite from start to finish. Before we go, we’ll explain how long to leave it and how to look after it.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Each item is left to cure, usually ready the day after.
Before we arrive
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
