About our coloured bath resurfacing in Fence

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is normally done in one to two days. We’re often asked to fix faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Prices and what affects them

Resurfacing from £350. There is no charge for travel to Fence. The price comes down to:

  • How many areas need work
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • Unusual colours or finishes

Instead of hourly rates, we price the whole job up front. Damage, material and access decide it.

Getting a price from pictures

Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:

  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • One sharp close-up of the damage

Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed quote.

How the visit works

When we visit, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. The job generally takes one to two days for a full suite. We clean up when we’re done and tell you when it’s ready to use.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. We leave everything to cure, typically until the following day.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Ensure the area is dry
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access

How to get a price

Common questions in Fence

Will there be a smell?

Some materials have a smell while they’re applied. It clears as the materials cure.

Will you leave a mess?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes: twelve months. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

Do you cover the entire of Lancashire?

Everywhere in the UK, Fence included. Travel is included in the price.

What about the toilet?

Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will tell you what will last.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Nearly always. We only ask to see it in person if the photos cannot show what we need.

What information do you need?

Some photos, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, access to the room.

Can I add another job to the visit?

Of course, and it typically saves money. Just add the extra items to your pictures and we’ll quote them together.

Honest limits

Some jobs are not right for a repair, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.

Materials we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites

DIY repairs versus a professional job

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Fence

We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We will fit around changeovers where we can.

Repair or replace in Fence?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
