How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Froyle
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites, and the jobs we see most are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
A one-year guarantee comes as standard. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Froyle questions
Is there a call-out fee?
There is no separate call-out charge. Your fixed price includes everything.
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will advise honestly before quoting.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.
Do you hold any accreditations?
We are accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.
Do you come to Froyle?
Yes, we do. Technicians travel to Froyle from across the region, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
Do I need to be at home?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. After that, you can carry on with your day.
Do the materials smell?
There can be some smell while we work, which is why we ventilate. It clears as the materials cure.
Can landlords book you?
We do, regularly. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.

DIY repairs versus a professional job
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.
Work for landlords and builders
Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, photos and access details.
Should you replace it?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

What happens on the day
When we visit, we arrive at the time we’ve agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take a day or two, depending on how many items. We clean up when we’re done and tell you when it’s ready to use.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.
Preparing for the visit
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Let us know which floor the room is on

What a repair cannot fix
In fairness, some problems need a different fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Froyle?
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
It’s worth getting a quote if you see:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
What to look for in a quote
- What aftercare is recommended
- Who turns up on the day
- How long it needs to cure
- What prep work is covered

What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually. The main factors are:
- The material
- How easy the damage is to reach
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for Froyle. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Quotes from your photos
You can take the photos on your phone. Just make sure we can see:
- One picture of the whole suite
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Something in shot to show the size
We price from pictures so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through.
