Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Glenfield
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Typical jobs include a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured shower trays and coloured basins.
Every job is backed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Common questions in Glenfield
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel is included in the price, with the same prices everywhere we work.
Can tenants book a repair?
Of course. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.
Can a coloured bath be made white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Generally, yes. Let us know what was used before and we’ll plan for it.
Do you cover the whole of Leicester?
The whole UK, including all of Leicester. Send your postcode with your pictures and we’ll confirm dates.
What do you need from me?
Some photos, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, access to the room.
What happens if you find more damage?
If we find something the pictures didn’t show, we explain it first. You decide whether to go ahead.
DIY kit or professional repair?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

Repair or replace in Glenfield?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

Common problems we fix in Glenfield
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Send us a picture if you notice any of these:
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite

How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Glenfield. What changes the price is:
- The material
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How many areas need work
- How hard the colour is to match
No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Getting a price from photos
You can typically get a fixed price without us visiting. To make it quick:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- A wider photo showing the entire suite
- What it’s made of, if you know
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
For most jobs, pictures are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.
What we cannot put right
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
What we work on
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
- Coloured shower trays
What we do, step by step
On the day, we arrive at the time we’ve agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. The job normally takes one to two days for a full suite. We tidy up before we leave and tell you when it’s ready to use.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- We leave everything to cure, generally until the following day.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know about parking or access
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing

There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from pictures: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote.
