Coloured bath resurfacing in Gunton without replacing anything
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is generally done in one to two days. We regularly repair coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites, and common reasons people contact us are selling or letting a home with an old suite and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.
We guarantee the work for a year. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Honest limits
To be straight with you, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.

What affects the price in Gunton
Resurfacing from £350. Prices are worked out job by job. What matters most is:
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- How hard the colour is to match
- How much damage there is
Compared with replacing, repairing generally costs far less, because there is no removal, plumbing or making good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Getting a price from photos
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. Try to include:
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Natural light rather than flash
- Details of any past repairs
- Any details about the material
There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send pictures and we will give you the exact figure.

How it works
The work is clean and fairly quiet, so you can stay at home while we’re there. We protect the area first, then the job itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items. Before we leave, we explain how soon it can be used and how to look after it.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- We leave everything to cure, typically until the following day.
Before we arrive
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
How to get a price
We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.
