Coloured bath resurfacing near Hazlehead

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Hazlehead

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We regularly repair coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and the jobs we see most are selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.

All our work comes with a one-year guarantee. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Compared with replacing, a repair is generally a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

Why book with us

  • We’ll tell you if it’s not worth repairing
  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
  • We leave the room as we found it
  • Normally one visit, start to finish

See our full price list and bath cost comparison.

Can I fix it myself?

For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

Honest limits

A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we will tell you honestly before you book.

Materials we work on in Hazlehead

  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays

How the visit works

We turn up when we said we would and checks the damage against your pictures first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.

How to prepare

  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
  • Have a window or extractor fan available
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible

For landlords and businesses

We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, so there is no need to replace a damaged item at the last minute. We can visit several plots in one trip.

When to call us in Hazlehead

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

The things clients usually mention when they call are:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

I rent my home. Can I book you?

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.

Prices and what affects them

Resurfacing from £350. There’s no charge for travel to Hazlehead. The price comes down to:

  • How hard the colour is to match
  • The type of damage
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • What the surface is made of

A repair generally costs much less than people expect, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

Send photos for a quote

Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To make it quick:

  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • Where you are, by postcode

A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the entire suite, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.
