About our coloured bath resurfacing in Highmoor

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Whether it’s faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can usually put it right, on whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays alike.

The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

How it works

There is not much you need to do on the day. Let us in and show us the room, and we will get on with it. The job generally runs to a day or two, depending on how many items, tidy-up included.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Preparing for the visit

  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Let us know if it has been repaired before

Getting a price

The quickest way to a price is to send two or three photos using our quote form or ring us. We will tell you honestly whether it can be repaired.

Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

What you get with us

  • One price list for the whole UK
  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
  • Straight answers about what a repair can do
  • Usually one visit, start to finish

DIY repairs versus a professional job

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is usually cheaper.

Landlord and trade work in Highmoor

If you manage property in Highmoor, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Just send photos for each address and we’ll come back with a combined price.

Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.

When a repair isn’t the answer

Some jobs aren’t right for a repair, for example:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we will tell you honestly.

What we work on

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays

FAQs for Highmoor

What information do you need?

Some pictures, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, access to the room.

Can you quote from pictures?

Nearly always. If photos do not show enough, we will ask for another angle.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Yes, and it’s frequently cheaper. Just add the extra items to your photos and we will quote them together.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Landlords are often glad to have it sorted.

When can you do it?

Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.

What happens if you find more damage?

If we find something the photos didn’t show, we explain it first. The price only changes if you agree.

Can you do the toilet too?

Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will tell you what will last.

Do you come to Highmoor?

Yes. We cover the entire UK and travel to Highmoor and the rest of Oxfordshire. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we look at:

  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • Doing more than one item at once
  • What kind of damage it is

We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for Highmoor. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Quotes from your photos

The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:

  • One picture of the whole suite
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • What it’s made of, if you know

For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.
