Coloured Bath Resurfacing in Highsted
We travel to Highsted for resurfacing coloured baths, basins and trays in white. Everything is done in place, with a one-year guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite

Can I fix it myself?
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
Coloured bath resurfacing in Highsted, done in place
A full suite is typically done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. If you are dealing with a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, we can normally put it right.
All our work comes with our one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

The process
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. The work itself takes one to two days for a full suite, and we leave the room as we found it.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- We leave everything to cure, normally until the following day.
Before we arrive
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area

What affects the price in Highsted
Prices start from £350. Each job gets its own fixed quote. These are the things that affect it:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- What kind of damage it is
- Unusual colours or finishes
There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.
Send pictures for a quote
You can take the pictures on your phone. Ensure they show:
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Where you are, by postcode
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
You do not need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

Honest limits
In fairness, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.
Surfaces we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
What we’re called out for in Highsted
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.
It’s worth getting a quote if you see:
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour
Before you book anyone
- Whether they match the colour on site
- A fixed price, and whether VAT is included
- Whether the price covers travel
- How the room is protected while they work
For landlords and businesses
Hospitality businesses can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out pictures. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
Highsted questions
Is there any odour?
A little, depending on the job. Open windows and an extractor fan help.
How soon can you come?
That depends on our diary for your area. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.
What happens next?
We come back with a fixed quote, generally with dates to choose from. You’re under no obligation.
Do you cover Highsted?
We do. Technicians travel to Highsted from across the region, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
How do I book?
Photos of the damage, a picture of the entire suite and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.
Is my repair covered?
All our work carries a one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
What happens if you find more damage?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. You will not be charged for anything you haven’t agreed.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, so the repair is not disturbed while it cures.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
What you get with us
- Nothing taken out or refitted
- We leave the room as we found it
- Honest advice, even when it means no job
- One visit for most repairs
