How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Lady's Well
A full suite is typically done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. We’re frequently asked to fix selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you are covered after the visit. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Can I fix it myself?
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send photos, the address and how to get access.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- What kind of damage it is
- What the surface is made of
- Unusual colours or finishes
Set against the cost of replacement, repairing generally costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Getting a price from pictures
We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what to send:
- A wider photo showing the whole suite
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
For a price in Lady's Well, photos are the quickest way: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. You’ll get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Why us?
- Fixed prices from your pictures
- Most jobs done in one visit
- Colour mixed on the day to match
- Work done at your home or business

What a repair can’t fix
In fairness, there are a few things a repair will not fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before you book.
Surfaces we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
How it works
It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, cover and mask the work area, and get on with the job, which typically takes a day or two, depending on how many items. If anything looks different from your pictures, we will talk to you before going ahead.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- We leave everything to cure, typically until the next day.
Before we arrive
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
How to get a price
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire suite, add your postcode and send them over. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

Questions from Lady's Well
Is a repair better than a new one?
Typically, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we will say so.
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Of course, and it normally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and you’ll get one combined price.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
Just keep them out of the work area. We will let you know when it’s safe to use again.
How quickly can you book me in?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send pictures with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Normally, yes. We remove the old repair before doing a new one, so let us know about it.
Is it messy?
We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and tidy up before we leave.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.
Are you a vetted contractor?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
