Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Langley Common
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Our repair technicians work on whole bathroom suites, coloured shower trays and coloured basins, and people most often call us about a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and faded or patchy colour.
You’re covered after we leave: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we’ll explain exactly what it covers when we quote. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Langley Common
Do you hold any accreditations?
We are accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.
Do the materials smell?
Expect a mild smell while we are working, which fades afterwards.
Do you cover Langley Common?
Yes, we do. We send a technician to Langley Common for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we’re working in. We will let you know when it’s safe to use again.
How soon can you come?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send pictures with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it is not worth repairing, we’ll tell you.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just make sure the landlord agrees.
How do I book?
Send photos through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we’ll take it from there.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. You’ll see the full price before booking.

How the visit works
We agree an arrival time beforehand, so you know when to expect us. Once we are there, the work takes one to two days for a full suite. We leave the room clean and you will know when it can be used.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, normally until the day after.
Before we arrive
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, include your postcode and send them over. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

DIY kit or professional repair?
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
For landlords and businesses
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, so there is no need to replace a damaged item at the last minute. We can visit several plots in one trip.
We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
When we’d advise against a repair
Not everything can be repaired, and we will tell you before we start. We can’t fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.
Surfaces we repair
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites

What we are called out for in Langley Common
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.
These are the problems we’re asked about most:
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour
What to look for in a quote
- How your room will be protected
- Whether the price covers travel
- How changes to the job are handled
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- What the surface is made of
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.
How to get a fixed price
Phone pictures are fine. Just ensure we can see:
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- What it’s made of, if you know
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- One picture of the whole suite
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire suite, we can price the job the same day in most cases.
