Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Lees

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We’re often asked to fix a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, in whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays.

You’re covered for a year from the day of the repair. Just call us if there’s a problem and we’ll sort it. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Why book with us

  • Fixed prices from your photos
  • No need to remove anything
  • Work done at your home or business
  • No extra charge for your area

Read our full price list and guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

What happens on the day

Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, protect the area, and get on with the job, which normally takes one to two days for a full suite. If anything looks different from your pictures, we’ll talk to you before going ahead.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.

Before we arrive

  • Make sure the area is dry
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat

Ask for a price

There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from pictures: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.

What we are called out for in Lees

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

These are the problems we are asked about most:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

Lees questions

Can you price it without visiting?

Yes, almost always. Clear photos let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.

Do you work in Lees?

Yes. We work across the UK and come to Lees. Send photos and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Usually, yes. We remove the old repair before doing a new one, so mention it when you send photos.

What if the damage is worse than the photos show?

It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. The price only changes if you agree.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Normally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Of course, and it typically saves money. Just add the extra items to your pictures and you’ll get one combined price.

Can you do the toilet too?

Talk to us first. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will advise honestly before quoting.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes: twelve months. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

What we can’t put right

We’ll always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair won’t do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we will tell you honestly before you book.

What we work on

  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Lees. What changes the price is:

  • The material and finish
  • How many items we do on one visit
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • The type of damage

Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Lees. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Send photos for a quote

You can generally get a fixed price without us visiting. To make it quick:

  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job without visiting.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
