Coloured bath resurfacing in Lewsey Farm without replacing anything
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Common call-outs are for a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in coloured basins, coloured shower trays and avocado, pampas and pink baths.
We guarantee the work for a year. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

FAQs for Lewsey Farm
Can I get a quote without a visit?
In nearly every case. If photos don’t show enough, we will ask for another angle.
Is there any odour?
Some materials have a smell while they’re applied, so we ventilate the room. It fades as everything cures.
What happens after I send photos?
We come back with a fixed price, plus dates. You’re under no obligation.
Can you repair several things at once?
Of course, and it normally saves money. Just add the extra items to your photos and we’ll quote them together.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.
Will you leave a mess?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.
How do I book?
Send pictures through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we will take it from there.
Is there a guarantee?
All our work carries our one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
When to call us in Lewsey Farm
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Common reasons people in Lewsey Farm contact us are:
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
Questions to ask before booking
- Who will actually do the work
- A fixed quote, and whether VAT is included
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
- Whether the price covers travel
For landlords and businesses
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Send the address, pictures and access details and we will arrange it.
Letting agents often send us pictures straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is generally cheaper.

What a repair can’t fix
In fairness, some problems need a different fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
Repair or replace in Lewsey Farm?
Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

What happens on the day
When we visit, we arrive at the time we’ve agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take one to two days for a full suite. We tidy up before we leave and let you know when you can use it again.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.
Before we arrive
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
How to get a price
The quickest way to a price is to send two or three photos using our quote form or call us. We will tell you honestly whether it can be repaired.

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Lewsey Farm. The price reflects:
- How much damage there is
- The colour and finish to match
- How many items we do on one visit
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Quotes from your pictures
Two or three clear pictures are generally enough. It helps if you send:
- Any details about the material
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Details of any past repairs
Email us pictures of the damage and one of the whole item, with your LU4 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
