Trusted coloured bath resurfacing in Little France

DIY kit or professional repair?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Little France

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is generally done in one to two days. We regularly repair whole bathroom suites, coloured shower trays and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and the jobs we see most are a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite.

The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If something is not right in that time, we come back and put it right. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What we do, step by step

Your technician turns up when we said we would, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, and we leave the room as we found it.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Each item is left to cure, generally ready the day after.

Preparing for the visit

  • Open a window if you can
  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit

Advice

Prices and what affects them

Prices start from £350. You won’t pay by the hour. The price is based on:

  • The material
  • How many areas need work
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it

No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Send photos for a quote

It only takes a minute to photograph the damage, and it saves a visit. Try to send:

  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • A photo taken from further back

If you are in Little France and want a price, pictures are the quickest way: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. You will get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.
