We travel to Low Team for resurfacing coloured baths, basins and trays in white. Everything is done in place, with a one-year guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Low Team
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. If you are dealing with a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour, we can help, on coloured shower trays, coloured basins and whole bathroom suites alike.
The work is covered for a year after we finish. If anything is not right, ring us and we’ll sort it. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What we do, step by step
You do not need to empty the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and start once you’re happy with the plan. It normally takes one to two days for a full suite, and you’re welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the following day.
Preparing for the visit
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
How to get a price
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire suite, we can give you a fixed price.
Advice
DIY repairs versus a professional job
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.
What affects the price in Low Team
Prices start from £350. There’s no charge for travel to Low Team. The price comes down to:
- How much damage there is
- The type of damage
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access.
Quotes from your pictures
Before you send photos, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- Natural light rather than flash
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- Any details about the material
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, include your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.

Low Team questions
Will you leave a mess?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.
What about the toilet?
Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will advise honestly before quoting.
Can pets and children be at home?
Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we are working in. We’ll tell you when the room can be used again.
Do you come to Low Team?
Yes, we do. We send a technician to Low Team for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes, often. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.
Will there be a smell?
Some materials have a smell while they’re applied, which is why we ventilate. It clears as the materials cure.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.
Landlords, agents and businesses in Low Team
If you manage property in Low Team, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Just send photos for each address and we’ll price them together.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Common problems we fix in Low Team
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Send us a photo if you notice any of these:
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom

Honest limits
To be straight with you, some problems need a different fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.
What we work on
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.
