Coloured bath resurfacing near Manningham

Coloured bath resurfacing in Manningham without replacing anything

A full suite is normally done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Our technicians work on whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays, and people most frequently call us about selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.

Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Common questions in Manningham

Does someone need to be in?

We need someone to let us in. You don’t need to watch us work.

Are you a vetted contractor?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

Can I add another job to the visit?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send photos of everything you’d like done.

Will you leave a mess?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.

Is there a guarantee?

Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.

Can tenants book a repair?

Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged.

How quickly can you book me in?

We will give you dates with your quote. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

How it works

When we visit, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. The job usually takes a day or two, depending on how many items. We tidy up before we leave and let you know when you can use it again.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
  • Let us know which floor the room is on

How to get a price

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the whole suite, include your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.

Can I fix it myself?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. You’ll know the full cost before you book. We look at:

  • Access to the area
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • How many items we do on one visit
  • The material and finish

Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Manningham. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Quotes from your pictures

You can typically get a fixed price without us visiting. To make it quick:

  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • Something in shot to show the size

Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire suite, we can price the job without visiting.

Honest limits

Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think.

What we work on

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins

  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
