What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. You will not pay by the hour. The price depends on:
- The material
- How many items we do on one visit
- Access to the area
- How many areas need work
There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
How to get a fixed price
We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what to send:
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- The material, if you know it
If you are in Middlesbrough and want a price, the easiest route is photos: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Middlesbrough
A full suite is usually done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. We are frequently asked to fix a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and faded or patchy colour, across whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and coloured shower trays.
You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Middlesbrough as everywhere else we work. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Landlord and trade work in Middlesbrough
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Middlesbrough and across the UK. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Send the address, photos and access details and we will arrange it.
Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Middlesbrough
Is there a call-out fee?
We do not add a call-out fee. The fixed price covers the visit and the work.
Can a coloured bath be made white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the photos cannot show what we need.
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.
How soon can you come?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.
Can you do the toilet too?
Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work. Everywhere else in the home is fine.
Do you cover Middlesbrough?
Yes. We work across the UK and travel to Middlesbrough and the rest of Middlesbrough. Send us pictures for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Photos let us give you the exact figure.
What you get with us

How the visit works
It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, cover and mask the work area, and get on with the job, which normally takes one to two days for a full suite. If we find something your pictures didn’t show, we will explain it before carrying on.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Each item is left to cure, typically ready the next day.
How to prepare
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing

Advice
When a repair is not the answer
In fairness, some problems need a different fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer before booking.
Materials we repair
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
Can I fix it myself?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
