Coloured bath resurfacing in Midelney

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually. What matters most is:

  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • How many areas need work
  • What kind of damage it is
  • The material and finish

Instead of hourly rates, we price the entire job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Send pictures for a quote

Most quotes are done from photos alone. To make it quick:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • Details of any past repairs

Send us pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your TA10 postcode, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Midelney

Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. We’re frequently asked to fix a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, in avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins.

You are covered for a year from the day of the repair. Just call us if there’s a problem and we will sort it. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

How the visit works

Here’s how a visit generally runs: we arrive at the agreed slot, sheet and mask the area around the job, do the job and tidy away. Plan for a day or two, depending on how many items. Before leaving, we tell you when it can be used and how to care for it.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.

Getting ready for the visit

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

Why Midelney customers choose us

  • We leave the room as we found it
  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • Usually one visit, start to finish
  • Colour mixed on the day to match

DIY kit or professional repair?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
