How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Moorhaven Village
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is typically done in one to two days. Whether it’s a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can normally put it right.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. We do not charge extra for travel to Moorhaven Village. The price comes down to:
- How many items we do on one visit
- How many areas need work
- How hard the colour is to match
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send photos and you’ll get a fixed figure.
How to get a fixed quote
Before you send photos, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- What it’s made of, if you know
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- A wider photo showing the entire suite
Email us photos of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your PL21 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.

- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

Moorhaven Village questions
Do I have to be there?
We need someone to let us in. You don’t need to watch us work.
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.
Do you do work for letting agents?
Yes, frequently. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, for a year. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged.
Can pets and children be at home?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, mainly so nothing gets touched before it has cured.
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll tell you what will last.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
In nearly every case. If photos do not show enough, we will ask for another angle.

DIY repairs versus a professional job
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is usually the cheaper route.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

The process
There’s not much you need to do on the day. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we’ll take it from there. The job generally runs to a day or two, depending on how many items, tidy-up included.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
Getting ready for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
How to get a price
We price from pictures so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through.
