Need coloured bath resurfacing in Naseby?

DIY kit or professional repair?

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is typically cheaper.

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

About our coloured bath resurfacing in Naseby

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is usually done in one to two days. If you’re dealing with a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can usually put it right, whatever the material.

Whatever the size of the job, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in Naseby

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s typically the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Send us a photo if you notice any of these:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

What to look for in a quote

  • The length of the guarantee and what it covers
  • Whether a trained technician does the job
  • What protection goes down before work starts
  • How to care for the finish

Choosing a repair company

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Naseby. What changes the price is:

  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • How hard the colour is to match
  • How much damage there is
  • The material and finish

A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before booking, with nothing added on the day.

Phone pictures are fine. Just ensure we can see:

  • One picture of the whole suite
  • Natural light rather than flash
  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit

To get a price, send a couple of photos using our quote form or call us. We’ll tell you honestly whether it can be repaired.

Work for landlords and builders

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.

For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover. We can visit several plots in one trip.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

What you get with us

  • Fixed prices from your photos
  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
  • No extra charge for your area
  • Colour-matched on site

How it works

We turn up at the time we agreed with you and checks the damage against your photos first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the next day.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
  • Point us to the nearest place to park

Ask for a price

There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from pictures: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.

Advice

When we’d advise against a repair

A repair is not right for every job, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we will tell you honestly before booking.
