Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in New Denham

What do you need from me?

Photos of the damage, a picture of the whole suite and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.

Can you repair several things at once?

Of course, and it typically saves money. Send pictures of everything together and we will quote them together.

Do you hold any accreditations?

We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.

Is it messy?

Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.

Can you price it without visiting?

In nearly every case. If photos do not show enough, we’ll ask for another angle.

Can landlords book you?

Yes. We carry out repairs for householders, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses.

How do I get a price for coloured bath resurfacing in New Denham?

Resurfacing from £350. Every job gets a fixed price from your pictures. Send a close-up and a picture of the whole item and your postcode.

Is there a guarantee?

Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.

Coloured bath resurfacing in New Denham, done in place

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Typical jobs include a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before you book.

Why us?

  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
  • Work done at your home or business
  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • One-year guarantee on every repair

What happens on the day

On the day, we arrive at the time we’ve agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take one to two days for a full suite. We tidy up before we leave and tell you when it’s ready to use.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.

How to prepare

  • Open a window if you can
  • Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

For landlords and businesses

We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in New Denham as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We will fit around changeovers where we can.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we take into account:

  • Doing more than one item at once
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first

A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.

Quotes from your photos

Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:

  • The material, if you know it
  • Natural light rather than flash
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • Where you are, by postcode

A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the whole suite, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.

Common problems we fix in New Denham

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.

The things clients generally mention when they call are:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

What your quote should include

  • Whether there are any call-out or travel charges
  • Who will actually do the work
  • When it can be used again
  • Whether the colour is mixed to match

DIY kit or professional repair?

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is normally cheaper.

A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

What a repair can’t fix

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before you book.

What we work on

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
