Coloured bath resurfacing near North Willingham

Coloured bath resurfacing in North Willingham, done in place

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Common call-outs are for a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, in whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

We guarantee the work for a year. If something isn’t right in that time, we come back and put it right. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

FAQs for North Willingham

Is a repair better than a new one?

Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids removal and making good. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

Are you accredited?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Do the materials smell?

Some materials have a smell while they’re applied, so we ventilate the room. It clears as the materials cure.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

Yes. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.

What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?

The price is fixed for what the photos show. If there is more, we will tell you before starting.

Do you cover the whole of Lincolnshire?

The entire UK, including all of Lincolnshire. Just include your postcode and we’ll offer you dates.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

What a repair cannot fix

It helps to know what we can’t do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.

When to call us in North Willingham

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.

Most people get in touch after spotting one of these:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom

Before you book anyone

  • How to care for the finish
  • A fixed quote, and whether VAT is included
  • Whether a trained technician does the job
  • Whether they match the colour on site

Our hiring checklist

Work for landlords and builders

Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.

Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Prices start from £350. You’ll know the full cost before booking. We look at:

  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • How hard the colour is to match
  • How many areas need work
  • Doing more than one item at once

Compared with replacing, repairing generally costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

Send photos for a quote

Phone pictures are fine, there is no need for anything special. Just ensure we can see:

  • Natural light rather than flash
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • The material, if you know it
  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before

Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price. There’s no charge for the quote and no obligation.

How the visit works

Arrival times are agreed in advance. Once we’re there, the work takes one to two days for a full suite in most cases. The room is left tidy and you will know when it can be used.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the next day.

How to prepare

  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Let us know which floor the room is on
  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day

How to get a price

Email us a picture of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, and tell us you’re in North Willingham, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

Why book with us

  • A year’s guarantee on all work
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface

Take a look at our prices page or resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.
