Coloured bath resurfacing in Ordsall without replacing anything

Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Typical jobs include a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite, on coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Compared with replacing, repairing typically costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you are paying for.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Ordsall?

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.

Look out for these signs:

  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

What your quote should include

  • When it can be used again
  • Whether the price covers travel
  • What happens if they find more damage
  • Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?

Choosing a repair company

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Prices start from £350. We give every job a fixed quote from photos. These are the things that affect it:

  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • The colour and finish to match
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it
  • What the surface is made of

Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Ordsall. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Send photos for a quote

You can take the pictures on your phone, there’s no need for anything special. Make sure they show:

  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • Any details about the material
  • One picture of the whole suite

If you are in Ordsall and want a price, photos are the quickest way: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.

How the visit works

There’s not much you need to do on the day. Let us in and show us the room, and we will get on with it. The job generally runs to one to two days for a full suite, tidy-up included.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Each item is left to cure, generally ready the following day.

When we’d advise against a repair

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.
