  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

About our coloured bath resurfacing in Park Street

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is generally done in one to two days. If you are dealing with a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, we can help.

Every repair is covered by our one-year guarantee. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. We don’t charge extra for travel to Park Street. The price comes down to:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • The material and finish
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • The type of damage

Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send pictures and we’ll give you the exact figure.

Getting a price from photos

A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. Try to include:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Any details about the material
  • Natural light rather than flash
  • Where you are, by postcode

Most customers in Park Street get their price from photos. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we will send back a fixed quote and some dates.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Why us?

  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
  • Same prices wherever you are
  • No need to remove anything
  • Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide

DIY repairs versus a professional job

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is typically cheaper.

For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.

For landlords and businesses

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, photos and access details and we will handle the rest.

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We are CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

When a repair is not the answer

We will not take on work that will not last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before you book.

What we work on

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins

How it works

Your technician turns up when we said we would and checks the damage against your photos first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. The work itself takes one to two days for a full suite, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

How to prepare

  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
  • Open a window if you can
  • Let us know about parking or access

Advice

Park Street: your questions answered

Will the price change on the day?

We will show you and explain before doing anything extra. You won’t be charged for anything you haven’t agreed.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

Is it safe with children and pets around?

Just keep them out of the work area. We will tell you when the room can be used again.

Will it make a mess?

Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and we clean up when we have finished.

Do I have to be there?

Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.

What about the toilet?

Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll tell you what will last.

Do you work in Park Street?

Yes, we do. Repair technicians travel to Park Street from across the region, and the price is the same as everywhere else.

What happens after I send pictures?

We come back with a fixed price, plus dates. There’s no obligation to book.
