Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Rattlesden
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We’re often asked to fix a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, on whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and coloured shower trays.
The work is covered for a year after we finish. If anything isn’t right, ring us and we will come back. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Questions from Rattlesden
Do you work in Rattlesden?
Yes. We cover the entire UK and come to Rattlesden and the rest of Suffolk. Send pictures and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Can you price it without visiting?
In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the photos can’t show what we need.
How quickly can you book me in?
Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.
What if the damage is worse than the photos show?
We’ll show you and explain before doing anything extra. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.
Is there a call-out fee?
There’s no separate call-out charge. Your fixed quote includes everything.
What about the toilet?
Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will tell you what will last.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first, so let us know about it.
DIY kit or professional repair?
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.
How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. There is no charge for travel to Rattlesden. The price depends on:
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send photos and we will give you the exact figure.
How to get a fixed quote
Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To help us price it:
- A photo taken from further back
- Something in shot to show the size
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Details of any past repairs
A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the entire suite, add your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.

What else we do in Rattlesden
When to call us in Rattlesden
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.
These are the problems we’re asked about most:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
What to look for in a quote
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- Whether the price covers travel
- Who will actually do the work
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.
Why us?
- CHAS and Constructionline accredited
- Colour mixed on the day to match
- We’ll tell you if it’s not worth repairing
- We leave the room as we found it

The process
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you and looks over the damage before anything else. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.
Before we arrive
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Clear the area around the damage
