Coloured bath resurfacing in Rhyn

Prices and what affects them

Resurfacing from £350. We don’t charge extra for travel to Rhyn. The price comes down to:

  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • Access to the area
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • How many items we do on one visit

The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book, with no extras added later.

Send photos for a quote

A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:

  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • One picture of the entire suite

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire suite, we can give you a fixed quote.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Rhyn, done in place

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Common call-outs are for a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured basins and coloured shower trays.

All our work comes with our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Shropshire. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

When to call us in Rhyn

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.

These are the problems we are asked about most:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom

  • What preparation is included
  • What happens if the damage is worse than the pictures show

Choosing a repair company

Should I try a DIY kit first?

The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

What happens on the day

Here’s how a visit normally runs: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and tidy away. Plan for a day or two, depending on how many items from start to finish. Before we go, we will explain how long to leave it and how to care for it.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. We leave everything to cure, normally until the next day.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Open a window if you can
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Make sure the area is dry

Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Instead of hourly rates, we price the whole job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access.

Rhyn questions

Do you cover Rhyn?

We do. We send a technician to Rhyn for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.

Is my repair covered?

Yes: twelve months. If there’s a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.

What areas do you cover?

We cover the entire UK, including Rhyn and the rest of Shropshire. Just include your postcode and we’ll offer you dates.

Will the price change on the day?

The price is fixed for what the photos show. Anything extra is discussed before we begin.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Yes. Doing several items on one visit generally costs less than separate visits. Include photos of each item.

Do I need to be at home?

Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.

It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?

Normally, yes. The old repair comes out first, so let us know about it.

Are you accredited?

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.

For landlords and businesses

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.

Letting agents frequently send us photos straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.

Honest limits

A repair isn’t always the answer, and we will tell you before we start. We can’t fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think.

Materials we repair

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
