Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Ring's End

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. We are often asked to fix a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, on whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and coloured shower trays.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months. We return to put right any problem with the work. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Questions from Ring's End

It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?

Normally, yes. The old repair comes out first.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.

Are you a vetted contractor?

We’re accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.

Do you come to Ring's End?

Yes. We cover the entire UK and travel to Ring's End and the rest of Lincolnshire. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

Can you quote from photos?

Normally, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed price.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes: twelve months. If there’s a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.

Is it OK to have pets in the house?

Just keep them out of the work area. We’ll tell you when the room can be used again.

Landlord and trade work in Ring's End

For anyone letting property in or around Ring's End, we will quote for several properties at once. Just send pictures for each address and we’ll price them together.

For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, so there is no need to replace a damaged item at the last minute. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.

The process

Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, cover and mask the work area, then carry out the work, which generally takes a day or two, depending on how many items. If anything looks different from your pictures, we’ll talk to you before going ahead.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Each item is left to cure, typically ready the day after.

Preparing for the visit

  • Let the surface dry out before the visit
  • Point us to the nearest place to park
  • Clear the area around the damage

Get a quote

A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the whole suite, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.

Advice

What a repair cannot fix

Some jobs are not right for a repair, for example:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think.

What we work on

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Ring's End?

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.

You may need us if you’ve spotted any of these:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

  • Whether a trained technician does the job
  • What protection goes down before work starts
  • Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price

10 questions to ask before booking

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Ring's End. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

What you get with us

  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
  • Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • Nothing taken out or refitted

Read our prices page and guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

Can I fix it myself?

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. We give every job a fixed quote from photos. This is what makes a difference:

  • The type of damage
  • How many areas need work
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • Doing more than one item at once

A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

How to get a fixed price

You can take the photos on your phone. Ensure they show:

  • Natural light rather than flash
  • A photo taken from further back
  • Details of any past repairs
  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit

Upload a photo of the damage and one of the entire item, and tell us you are in Ring's End, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
